First Class Football English Premier League

The English Premier League is something special for the fans all around the world. Even before the Iron Curtain to fell down, the English clubs had a lot of popularity East of Berlin. One of the most attended friendly match ever was between Chelsea and Dynamo Moscow in 1945 when estimated crowd of 100 000 people visited Stamford Bridge stadium.
English football is all about attack and athletic play. Footballers from the Albion are known for their ability to play high balls and hard tackles. Since the Manchester United triumph in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich many thing have changed in the English soccer, most of them for good. Wealthy companies and businessmen invested a lot of money to turn the Premier League in the most adorable championship in the world. Many world class players come to play in England, knowing it is a step forward in their career.

The football has changed much more than the previous decades. Before the English clubs and players relayed on high balls and passes, but managers like Arsene Wenger and Gerard Houllier placed the ball in the midfield, allowing more passes and ball possession. Many overseas players came to the Premier League with their football tricks and ability, unseen before that in England. Many soccer lovers feel a little bit nostalgic about the great football from the past. But the football is an ever-changing game. Any personality brings something special in the first class football, played in the Albion.
The 2012/2013 season just started, but we already have witnessed great matches and performances. The football in the English Premier League is getting better year by year, and we are the lucky once to live in the 21st century, the time when the English soccer is flourishing.
